I have a 6ft. Table with the bed raisers under the feet. It makes cutting a lot easier. The drawback is if you need to move the table-can bea pain. Other than that it works great!

Go to your hardware store get pvc to fit over the size of your table legs . decide how tall you want the table have them cut you 4 pieces (or enough for the # of legs) . I have used them for years to raise my tables to a comfortable height. Cheap & easy. Oh yes its easy to move with the pvc.

I bought a table at Joanne's. I attached a picture here. When closed, the two fold down section are long enough to almost reach the floor leaving a 20 inch middle section, like a side board. you can push it up against a wall and it doesn't take up much space at all. It's not perfect, I've had it for a number of years and it is getting a little wobbly, but it is a perfect hight for me, and gives me the space I need when and where I need it.

Yes, you can use the bed risers to raise your table up.

I have a very sturdy ironing board and pruchased a "homemade" top for it. The top is made from plywood and there were adjustable slots on the under side to fit various size ironing boards and to keep it from sliding around. I also saw recently that JoAnns had a cutting table that had the extra heighth. There were drawers under neath and one end look as though there was a small pressing area. I'm sure it is one of those things that is "assembly required". I think the sales price was $199.00

I use my pooltable with a pingpong top on it to sandwich my quilts and also as a cutting table. It works real well.

I am lucky, I inherited this old ugly handmade tall table, my husband used to fix T.V. on. I then bought the large 58" cutting mat and placed it on top. My table even has a box in back where I can plug in light, sharpener, etc. Yes ,I am very lucky in that respect . The table is 35.5 inches from the floor.
