Try calling the Singer Rep in your area if you can't figure it out.

My face is sure red right now! The foot is hitting the darning plate and that's what's making the noise. I took a piece of material and folded it several times and was putting it between everything that moved that could possibly touch something else. When I put the folded material between the inside edge of the foot and plate the sound stopped. The 3 layers of the quilt isn't thick enough to stop the noise. I ordered 2 new feet this morning so I'm hoping maybe they won't make that annoying sound! If they don't then I guess I can wear earplugs when I want to quilt. LOL!!
