No sashing. Blue border with black binding isprob what I would do. I like it.

I vote for no sashing, as others have said there is a flow through the blocks that I think sashing would block. Since you have more material available I would make more blocks to add to the quilt. Then again it is up to you as to how you want to use the quilt. Lovely colors and pattern (what is the name of the pattern).

I, also, like it without the sashing, as the sashing would create a distraction from the block pattern.

Depending on what you are planning on doing with this quilt when it is made, would depend on whether I would make it larger or not. It is fine as it is and would also look great bigger. Half dozen of one and six of another...

    Thanks all!

It's called Sienna Square. There's a 6 inch and a 12 inch. I did the 6 inch one. I got the pattern from craftsy.

I'm in the July - October WH swap, so I have time to make it bigger (not much, maybe 2 more blocks of four) so a 2x6 ... could be a table runner too!

It's not hard, but it is a lot of piecing!!!

Marion, this quilt reminds me of the old coconut candy that had three colors in a strip, pink, white and brown. I don't remember what it is called but it sure is yummy just like your quilt. I would name this quilt after that candy. Does anyone know what I am referring to?

Ube, I know exactly what you mean, but have no clue what the candy was called!

How about taking each 4 block section and setting them on point and go from there. How big a quilt do you want to make? The 4 sections look like they are about 12" square (used the squares on the cutting mat for reference).

Ditto love it with no sashing. Would be beautiful as a throw or bed size of your choice.
