I bought and downloaded a years sub to Quilters world. I did not know that when your year is up you can no longer access your issues. I no longer buy paper mags and for sure no more digital.

I love digital issues. I get Fons and Porters's and Quilter's World. I print out the patterns I like. I let Carbonite store the issues for me and I can restore any issue whenever I want it if I ever stop subscribing. With F&P you get many more patterns in the digital issue that couldn't be printed due to space. I buy lots of printed magazines too.

You may still have the issues on your hard drive.

In Windows XP or 7, click on the Start button, then type Quilter's World in the little search box at the bottom of the start menu.

Even if you didn't intentionally save them to your hard drive, there may be copies of some or all the issues in your Temporary Internet Files folder or your Downloads folder. If they are, save them to a folder of your own making in Windows Explorer.

I have subscribed to nQuilter's World online for 2 years now. I love it and since we are 5 months in Usa and 7 in Canada I never have to worrt about where my magazine subsc is. I have saved all the past issues on my computer. Love it and have had no problems.

I get one from Australia, I think 3 a year, for free.
    Great patterns; easy to download.

I like the digital forms, too. Especially Quilter's World, which allows saving to your hard drive in pdf format.

The Fons & Porter and Easy Quilts don't allow you to do that - at least not that I can find. I even tried printing to PDFFusion as a file, but couldn't find a way to make that work. When your subscription term is up, you can't access the issues that you bought - so what you're buying is actually a year of access, but not the issues, themselves.
