This is what I use for my heirloom quilts. There are 4 quilts in this that are over 75+ years old from both my husbands and my grandmothers and great aunts. The craftsman is from Texas and typically has a booth at popular quilt shows...he makes them in all shapes, sizes, and wood. Love mine and was finally able to pull these out of cubbard.

There was a time the Amish in Arcola Illinois were making/selling those lovely glass chests......don't know if they are still doing that there or other Amish communities....they are lively..I don't have one, but next trip to Amish country I'm going to look into it.

When I hang a quilt on the wall, I put a second rod pocket on the bottom to hold a dowel so the bottom hangs nice and tidy not wavy and no need to tack the bottom down to keep it smooth.

Here is the link to crafter I ordered the quilt storage box from. However, if you google "quilt curio" you'll see lots of designs and prices..

http://www.quiltcurio.com. He usually has a booth at Peducka and Houston. I bought mine at Road to Calif last year.
