I haven't seen the ones made by Oxyclean but I've had very good results with the Shout brand.

You can receive a free sample and a coupon if you search for color catcher coupon or here is a link to try. Not making any promises that the link will work, my computer skills are the greatest.

I used the shout brand and trying to save some time tossed several new fabrics in to washer for their first wash. Added 2 color catchers and yes they were blue from the material that bled but I also had blue marks on a lighter piece of fabric... lessons learned nothing is magic! I would use again, but be more selective of what I put in washer. Guess that defeats what the purpose of the color catcher is for....

They work for me! I especially use them when I am down to that last load and want to throw everything into the washer to 'get it done!'

I've used them many times on my quilts and I've also used them in my regular wash. They are great.
