No you are not alone, but my dreams are usually that I hit the lottery and could buy everything I wanted and stay home and quilt all day, with a selection of fabrics to die for. Boy if that happened my family would hate me, I would be in the sewing room more than I am now.

i go to sleep excited for my next day off where i can work on my current projects and i dream of new ideas, patterns and projects ~ if i only wrote these down ~ of course i always think about fabric i *need* and wake up with colors on my brain ... then i have to go to work and force myself to focus on my responsibilities and tasks to earn a living and get distracted by daydreams about the day i can retire and make quilts all day

Yes, I day dream about quilting all day long while I am at work. I get home and am too tired to actually quilt!
