I was just wondering how many of you get side-tracked when looking through your scraps for colors, etc. I'm working on a quilt using brights and white-on-white. It's all tone-on-tones as you can see. Anyway, decided to look through scrap boxes for more and found myself re-organizing the scraps in the box. I spent more than an hour pressing, and straightening the pieces when I could have been sewing. So, has this happened to you?

Yep. One Saturday I was going to cut and piece a new project and spent the entire day reorganizing my stash closet. Didn't get one square cut. But I tend to spider-web quite a bit anyway. The way I clean house drives DH crazy.

It all started with one block --- our guild is having a luncheon in March for 3 other guilds and this is our Block of the Party. We only needed to make one block---I got side-tracked and it just took on a life of its own. So now it will become a baby quilt for my niece if she has a girl.
