I love Sunbonnet Sue! I started 'Through the Year with Sunbonnet Sue' about 6 years ago and put it away after completing one block! This winter with the urging of some friends that are also making the blocks, I'm back working on it. I'm slow, because I committed myself to finishing seven UFO's this year. I have three to go and they also are in various stages of development. My Sunbonnet Sue quilt will be at the top of my UFO list for next year. I promise, I promise.....

I read your blog regarding Sunbonnet Sue. Do you have a pattern for your Halloween Sunbonnet Sue quilt? I love Halloween and this would be perfect. I would be willing to pay you for your pattern. I just love Sunbonnet Sue and Halloween.

    Thank you,
    Krafty Kandy

I've made the Sunbonnet Sue's and I love them. They are ageless.

I made a Sunbonnet Sue Quilt in 2004. It was SBS in a swing. I took a class to make a pillow and wound up making a whole quilt too. I did machine applique and hand quilted the whole quilt. You can check it out in the quilt section on my webshots below:

I did one block for a quilt that was given to a friend. I might do a whole quilt in the future.
