Made a Sue and Sam quilt for my mother in law. She is using it in the NH and has received a lot of compliments on it. My wonderful quilter did a very special job for me. In the top center border are two intertwined hearts which symbolize my mother in law and father in law, then in each corner are 4 birds which symbolizing their 4 children and then in the two side and bottom borders are 6 hearts (2 on each) for the six grandsons.

I hadn't wanted to make Sue/Sam until I saw yours. Love them.

I've had one in progress now for YEARS. Like, I think 2004? 2005?
It's a Trip around the world Sue, and I actually broke down and bought the international Sue book this year to hopefully motivate me to finish... ha

I love the Sunbonnet Sue quilts. I have some Sue's from my grandma's collection that I need to make into a quilt....just afraid to get started.

I made a queen size Sunbonnet Sue quilt for my granddaughter. I will see if I can send a picture.
