I have been making these little pouches that hold travel sized kleenex packages. I couldn't figure out why my final product wasn't the right size for the package. Guess what the problem was? I discovered my ruler is 6 1/2" wide, rather than just 6". Do you know how long I've been using that ruler? Goodness knows how many problems it has caused over the last few years.

glad you finally figured it out, be sure to look on your other rulers as some of them have 1/4 seams added into them!

Uh Oh... :shock:
I have the opposite problem, all but one of mine are 1/2" the one that is just 3" really throws me off...

I just checked mine. I didn't know it had the 1/4 inch on either side. Thanks for making me look.
