Visit your library or a quilt shop or even some used book stores and look for books and magazines geared to beginner quilters. There are several good ones and a quilt shop is a special place to get inspiration and ideas. They usually have beautiful quilts of all types and helpful people willing to share the love of quilting. The web is also full of ideas and blogs dedicated to all sorts of quilting. You can spend hours searching for easy patterns and projects.
