I've looked through as many postings as I can find, and did PM someone from a section called Electric Quilt (sorry I can't find a way to post directly to that) I can export a snapshot of a block outline to my word program, no problem. BUT... is there a way to export a snapshot of the pieces OR do you just have to use the print option in EQ5. I really want to put the pieces into a word document if possible, only looking for no... or if yes...then would love the instructions on how this can be done, thanks so much!

maybe i don't understand your issue...
to export, you have to draw a line around the part you want to have a picture of, like in paint. then you can save the bmp to your picture file and then insert that picture in any other program that takes pictures. is this what you mean?

Instead of the bmp... you can save it to your clipboard... and that lets me put it into a word document for me.
When you have your block in front of you in EQ5 you can "take a picture & export it" BUT.... when you click on the print template option.... there is no export, only print... I really don't want to print the template at that moment, I only want to save it to the word document that I have created. Is this possible?

So I've read the HELP section on how to add to the virtual section, and it says there is a link at the top left to add it. I don't see it when I go to my first posting here, does that mean it's only visible when you first post, and you can't get a posting into the virtual section later? Thanks.
