Me too!....... We are renovating at the moment so there's no sewing being done here but I'm still buying way too much.

I too am not buying this year. with the block of the month
I was so hoping only to use fabric from my stash but have to
go out to buy some white. That is all.

Be careful buying books . I have lots and don't believe I've used anything from any of them. I even have abook on
paper piecing so I've actually gotten it out and am trying to see how to do this.

Have fun and LETS USE UP THAT STASH!!!

Hooray for me---I just lost about a yard and a half making my first bow tucks bag and used up some scraps doing mug rugs. Plus a lot of scraps going into my funky chicken blocks! NO NEW PURCHASES.

Been on a "fabric diet" for quite awhile. I don't buy anything that I don't have something in mind for. Hard but its working. I am finishing up my UFO's
I also for the first time went the thrift store for sheets for backing. When I got them home they were a blend. Switched out the top sheet with a 100% cotton that I had here and used that. No one will notice its only twinsize for company. lol

Me too! I just finished a quilt made entirely of stash I had for about 3 years. My DGD was here over the weekend and found a basket of fleece fabric samples I have had for years. She is in the process of zig zagging them together to make a blanket for her new pup. I am so thrilled because I will have that basket back again. When I finish my QAYG (ready to sew it together) I am going to make some QFKs from my stash.

I have tried to diet but I am a victim of the fabric fairy. This is a Canadian apparition who comes in overnight and deposits fabric in drawers that fills them up despite your ongoing efforts to pare down your stash. I have tried to reason with her but no luck. I just have to live with it.

I'm on a fabric diet so..............I'm gonna start that cute red, black and white, with the Eiffel Tower quilt that I bought 3 years ago. (Love that fabric, don't know why I haven't made it up yet) THEN I'm goin' on to the Asian floral prints on black with the beautiful pink and yellow borders (I remember the first time I laid eyes on it, I still think it's gorgeous!) Why on earth is it still waiting to be done??? THEN it's on to the other black, white and red whole cloth, just for me quilt! (I DO love B/W&R, can you tell?) After these are done it's on to aprons to be made with big, pretty towels and then.........and then..........and then......... :-D :-D
