Not the only slob. When I get tired or things start to go wrong ( cut a hole in a border fabric) I just walk away till another day.

Oh if only I could make myself do that! Just because you're neat doesn't mean you aren't a true quilter.

    Yeah, me too.

I can close the door and come back later to everything just as I left it! I must admit, I do have to sweep the floor to get those little strings and stray pieces that drive me crazy sticking to my feet. lol
Me too! My DH wanted to move mine upstairs by the so called office and It was tempting but he would see my stash and stuff and mess. So I will stay in the cellar and clean when I want and leave a mess when I want.

I leave the mess until I complete a quilt, and clean up before I start a new one..works for me.

No, I am the #1 slob. You would thinkthat there is at least a classroom full using my sewing room. I clean it up and put everthing in it's place and then I start on a project and it looks like a tornado hit it. It stays that way until I'finished with the project I'm working on. Oh yes, If you are coming to see me then my house is as is, but if your coming to look at my house be sure to bring plenty of money, as I only ask what it is worth to me and that is plenty.

My children call me a hoarder too. It makes me happy to look at my fabric, even if there is a lot of it!! Maybe being a hoarder AND a quilter is okay! What do you think? :-D
