Hey! Give her time to get over the fumes from the basting spray! I use that stuff all the time and sometimes the fumes can get to you. Especially doing three. So as soon as your eyes settle down and your head stops swimming get in there and sew sew sew.

I use 505 and haven't had a problem with it staying together. I have had it come lose at the corners but a touch up with a hot iron will put it right back together again!

I hope that no pictures means you still going strong on the quilting.

Well I'm still at it! I have almost finished the first one....the quilting that is! It will still need binding. If I hadn't spent so much time"unquilting" I would have finished yesterday.I don't understand why my machine will sew so well for a while and then go crazy!Hopefully it will behave for a while now. I was sewing away today when my DH came in and watched for several minutes. Then he said "Can I try that?" "Maybe later" I told him. I don't know if he is serious but he will have to learn on something else!
About the spray basting...that is one thing I love about 505...almost no odor. As far as hand quiltng, I had one quilt sprayed for months before I got to it. It was still well stuck. I wouldn't be afraid to try it.
The quilt will be posted asap.....Thanks for the push, shove and threats, They all helped to get me going...

I will definitely be buying some 505! Thank you. I should have known better than to trust a salesman.
