Getting fusible web off of an iron

I use dryer sheets like this:
Take three or four paper towels, stacked on top of each other. Place a new dryer sheet in a corner of the stack. Heat the iron and iron/press on top of the dryer sheet and then slide the iron onto the paper towels so that they absorb what the dryer sheet loosened. Repeat until the iron bottom is clean. If there is anything inside the dimples of the iron, I will use a tweezer to hold a small wadded up piece of dryer sheet and wipe inside the dimple. I finish with a couple steam bursts from the iron onto clean paper towels.
