Question GO! Die Adapter for Studio

Will a piece of wood the same thickness as an adapter work?

Yes, that would work. I have used old magazines for off-brand dies. Just kept ripping off pages until I got the right thickness.

I do not have the Studio but that is a very clever idea, quilters are amazing.

I bought the largest adapter. It is about 3/8 inch thick. It is solid plastic that fits in the super jumbo tray. I am a frugal soul, but I decided not to try to use plywood or anything like that because of potential warping. I would kick myself to destroy an expensive die over a few dollars savings.
