I love gadgets but it has to be something that will make my life easier but I think this would only make me frustrated more; when the pins didnt come up or got jammed.

I've never seen it and would never even consider purchasing it, because it is run on batteries.

That's funny, because I saw this on a quilting show on TV. They were promoting it as the greatest thing! I thought I must be way behind the times, a pin cushion is my friend.

It would be great for using while doing fittings, etc. or pinning up hems.

I think it looked a bit like a piggy bank.

Wow - it's big, must be for there to be a motor in it. It would take up too much space on my table. I struggle with picking up pins, but I still don't think I'd buy this. I routed around for my husband's old pincushion (yes, my husband had a pincushion) when I was having trouble and the little tomato with Chinese people all around it works quite well.

Here's the demo, if you are interested:

My DH had fun playing with it at Joann's until I told him it was time to go and he had to put the toy away :-) :-)

Haven't seen it yet! But, people are always figuring out something to sell. I usually drop so many, a big magnet would help me!
