    I don't us essential cotton unless needing a certain color for a small applique piece. I used it to quilt 2 lap sized quilts then had trouble with the tension on my BL crescendo with FMQ. Took it to my LQS. They found the upper threading areas packed with lint. My machine was in for maintenance just 6 months before.

    Definitely a bit more linty, but I do use it and Connecting Threads frequently have sales on their threads.
