I tend to make tissue box covers with mine. 15 inch square of 2 fabrics, 1 batting. sewn with 1/4 inch around. leave opening for turn. I zigzag the edges all around, then quilt in the middle. I then zigzag about a 2-3 inch circle in the center, cut out for the hole for the tissues to come out of. Then I sew a 4 inch angle at each corner. Sometimes I tack the flaps down, others I have used my pinking shears and just cut them off. Flip it and sew buttons (or something decorative) for the triangle points. Put it over one of those square boxes of tissues and a go-to gift to give!

After I made a few of these boxes using this method, I came across instructions on how to do away with that inside flap which I didn't like. Make it the same way but use French seams for the corners. Does away with the flap & still easy to do. I love them this way.
