I am beginning several memory quilts and need a little advice. Does anyone know of a source for the transfer paper used. I can get the small packages (3 sheets) at local stores, but I am hoping to find some place where I can purchase a larger amount at a reasonable cost as I will be transferring about 20-25 images.

    Any help will be appreciated!

I packs I use to buy at Hobby Lobby had 6 sheets in them...that as the most I ever found in a pack. Those were made by June Taylor, I believe....package was orange.

Are you transferring on your own printer or taking to a print shop for them to transfer to paper? One of our local printers has the transfer paper in a larger size, and many pictures can fit on that so it has been the most economical, and then I transfer it to the fabric I want to use.

I always buy online, Joann Fabrics has good sales and I only buy the good stuff because I had to remake (BIG bummer) a quilt for my daughter because I thought I could get away with a "bargain" product.

I bought a bottle of bubble jet setting solution. It is to soak the fabric you want to print on, very easy, then let it dry. There is another bottle of solution to set your picture. It was not expensive and I make my own fabric for putting pictues on. I cut my blocks prior to soaking them to 8x11. then I press frezzer paper to it and run it through my printer. It won't work on Jet printers, just regular ones. If you decide to do this, it is inexpensive and easy to do. Oh, got it at a quilting shop, but it is probably available somewhere on line.
