I bought the photo paper for putting pictures on Quilts at Joannes. It was raining and I had the paper in the back of the truck with the cap on, not knowing it had a leak. Well wouldn't you know right where I had the paper.......Needless to say it wrinkled and coming apart. Has this happened to anyone else.? Is the paper still good? Or does anyone have a good way to make photo paper? :( :( :(

If the paper on the back means that it is iron on - Then very carefully place the paper back onto the back of it, using a warm iron (maybe even very hot) and press it back onto the fabric.

IF it was not origianlly and iron - then get some freezer paper, cut a piece larger than the fabric, place the wrong side of the fabric onto the shiny side of the freezer paper, and a pressing cloth over that. Then using a very warm iron, press them together. Let it cool, remove the pressing cloth - trim the paper from around the fabric.

Now it should still be the same size and you will be able to use it in your printer as well. The paper will just peel off after you have printed your photo on it.

Hope that this helps. I have used these fabrics frequently.

You can also print on any fabric by ironing it on freezer paper, thats how i do my labels.

I personally have never had that happen but it sounds like the advice the others have given is good advice. Best of luck, I know that photo paper is not cheap. I just bought a bunch. Next time I use freezer paper instead :)

You can print on white fabric, wash first and do not use fabric softener. But you will want to purchase the Bubble jet products to set the ink. :D:D:D

Do you have to treat the fabric first or just heat set it when finished? Hmmmm...guess I should have read Amma's post first!

This is how I do it.
