Help. trying to make a scrappy star and can't get the triangles
Can't get the triangles connected correctly. I got the book Scrappy Firework Quilts by Edyta Sitar. I am having a real hard time getting the center point on the star to lay flat, so I heavily starched it. The next step is to put the triangles on. I can not figure out how to get them on so it lays correctly. Am I missing something? Is there a video to watch that will help?

Isn't that essentially a lonestar quilt? There are some videos for them online.

I dont know the exact name of your oattern, but if it is like a Lone Star, dont stitch the triangles together from end to end. Start in the center and sew to the edge. If you coukd give the exact name of the pattern it would help
