Love the area around Nashville and always enjoy my visits.
We went to Franklin the last time we were in TN and I found an amazing quiltshop there in a strip mall. If I remember the name I'll let you klnow. They had TONS of Civil War fabrics (surprise!?)
It was Stitchers Garden--the problem is they're not the friendliest people in the world. But they do have a great selection.

We are in East TN near Knoxville. We shop at Sewing Machines Etc (love Gayla), Mamaw's Thimble, Cat Lovers, and Dizzy Divas.

We went to the quilt show last year, but probably won't be able to go this year. It cost a lot of $ last year, and we're trying to watch the budget.

The school I attended isn't even there anymore. As a matter of fact, the house my mom and dad actually built themselves in Atoka is gone now, too, and there is a church there.

Hampton, Tennessee... good ole east Tennessee.

Its not a very good picture but this is my Cathedral Window Quilt I made for my Son, Jeremy and it only took me three years and one broken leg to finish it... but it was well worth it.

This quilt is being made for my Son, Jon. IT is hand made using a pattern sort of like the Cathedral window pattern and made using Crown Royal Purple Bags... So far I have used over 200 bags. and No i didnt drink to get this. they were donated by various friends and family members...
