I am from Norma Tenn. Close to Oneida Tenn. There are a lot of good quilters in that part of the country. A lot of the oldies are now gone. I live in South Ga. now but would like to be in Tenn on top of a mountain with my sewing machine and my stash of course. But with electricity, I could rough the rest.

Sorry about getting too happy with my replys, but the downloading kept running, so thought it wasn't going through. How do I delete?

I think it's cool to find so many Tennessee folk here! Who knew? We need to plan some get-togethers in each area - middle Tennessee, obviously and northeast and southeast and west!
I had not idea JoAnn's was coming to Murfreesboro (1 hour away), but I'm glad to hear it. I get to the one at Cool Springs (Nashville) fairly regularly, but that 20 minutes closer could make a definite difference.

Happy weekend to all my felloiw Volunteer State folk!
It is so pretty around the Fayetteville area, my SIL lived there for years and I just loved going to see her and staying with her!

Hi, Granny, I'm from Memphis and you may want to try Klassy Kats in Bartlett, or The Quilting Barn in Arlington TN.

We're supposed to be getting a JoAnns in Chattanooga, on Gunbarrel Rd. next to Walmart, this fall. For those of us west of Knoxville and south of Nashville. :)
