I buy two to three yards if I think it's a focus or border print. I tend to buy a yard of something I consider a blender or accent fabric.

I have been caught wanting more of the 1 yard buys occasionally but not often enough to change my habit.

I usually buy a yard, but have had to rethink that because that is not really enough for a lot of my projects!

I would buy at least three yards.

I almost never buy just a yard anymore unless I know exactly what I'll use it in and absolutely know that is enough.

I've got a lot of 1 yard cuts, but when I go to use them, it's not enough. Besides, I always figure anything left over an be used in a scrap quilt or for applique.

Always more than a yard, 2 or more. If I love it, 4 or more. If it's on a good sale 5 or 6. I am so glad my husband doesn't read this!!1

I usually buy 1 yard of fabric. This allows me to buy an assortment of fabrics for my scrap quilts. If its on sale and I know I can use it in several quilts, maybe 2. (?)
But I have to really like the fabric and know it will be versitile.
