I went with a friend to an AA meeting to support her (I have never been to one before) and all through it I thought......there needs to be a Quilter's Anonymous (QA) for those of us who have way too much fabric and keep buying. It can be very addictive.

At $25+ per metre I can't afford to impulse buy. Just buy what I need, when I need it.

I'm reading this string & thinking that I fit in well too. Pretty much..."she who ends up with the most fabric wins!" LOL!!! I love it! I'm running out of places to stash it in our motorhome right now, though! Quilting, quilting, quilting! :-)

I got a chuckle out of this, I asked the same question just a couple of days ago. But, I think I may have decided what I am going to make so that will help.

Anymore, I almost always buy quarters and fat quarters, and mostly of reproduction fabrics. What can I say? I love to make scrap quilts with lots of fabrics.

Why use one red when four will do?

If it is fabric I really believe only use in 1 specific quilt it might be a yd., but generally buy 2-3 yards when fabric I like... Nothing worse than going back for more and find not available....
