I recently inherited this beauty from my mother-in-law- just needs a little dusting and servicing. Haven't plugged it in yet, but it ran a few years ago when I was checking it out for MIL.

    Made in October 1948

I may be wrong but this looks like my model 15. Check the serial number and see what model it is and when it was made. here is the link. http://www.singerco.com/support/machine-serial-numbers

That looks like the 15-91 I have. Still a great machine even though it is not a featherweight..

Yes, a 15-91, not a Featherweight. A great machine none the less. Has a reverse stitch. Vertical bobbin. And the feed dogs can be dropped to do FMQ.

Or so I've been told lol - can't get the tension right on my 15-91 so can't sew a thing right now...regardless of if the feed dogs are up or down! Into the shop she goes tomorrow :)

Featherweight or not, she's a beauty. Enjoy!
