    Been there, done that. Make sure your tetanus shot is up to date. So sorry and I know it is painful. However, you will find a way to work around it within a week or so.

    OMG, 1/2 inch is a HUGE amount. Couldn't you have gone for the scant 1/4"? So sorry, hope it heals completely and quickly.

    omg lol thats a good one, thanks I needed that. It was kinda of at a slant so I only got the very tip of the bone, so Dr says that should not be a problem, but I am probably going to lose my fingernail.

    Wait...this happened with a rotary cutter?! Oh my I didn't realize they could do that much damage! I hope your finger heals up just fine and quickly!
