This is a very easy and fast quilt to make as shown in this "Jelly Roll Quilt Races" youtube video:

Isn't that a fun video? You could make your own strips.
I never saw anything like that....what a riot and what WONDERFUL results. That is surely a "keeper." Thanks for sending it.

Thanks for your generosity!! This is important to me and my family and so many others. My oldest granddaughter was diagnosed with type 1 at the age of 4. Then the second granddaughter got type 1 at the age of 10. Besides the terrible expense two young people cannot live normal lives as most of us know it. There is no known cause as it is not in our families. Then we were told that the 10 year old would not get it in the same family, but she did. There has got to be something in the food supply, environmental causing this epidemic. There are many more young people in the schools being diagnosed every day. It is odd, but a majority of the diagnoses come in the month of October. Pray for these kids and support the cause.

Warm Wishes in 1-2 days. I did three in a week. You need a focus fabric and three other fabrics, two bright or darker and one in the middle that is medium or lighter. Just google Warm Wishes and the pattern is free.

Do something you have made before. It is always quicker and easier the second time around, I think.

I second the turning twenty. Maybe make a smaller personal sized quilt for the couch or for a teen.

I have made four of these in the last couple of days (the tops) and they are the easy to quilt on a home sewing machine, and, people think you have done this absolutely stunning quilt....so easy.

I will say that I did the disappearing nine patch in one day and quilted it the next and had the binding done the next. It was a queen size. It goes fast and quick. You do not have to think hard on it at all. I would suggest this one with the scraps.
