Hi all,

I'm working on another FMQ quilt and have this layout. I want to put something in each diamond, but not a pattern. Was thinking of doing "mirror image" for the facing diamonds of something, but am stuck on what ...

Any ideas!

I like it the way it is. This doesn't require anything else according to this picture. How big is the design. If it is large a bird might be nice it will accent the feathers.

The diamonds are about 6 inches from the middle ... and it needs lots LOL ... I want to make a quilt with lots of FMQ ...

Since you have a feather border, I think I would do a small oval and feather around it to fill the diamond shape. You can never have too many feathers in my opinion.

what about framing the edges with arcs/continuous curves, then filling the center with something?

I might look at crosshatching alternate diamonds, & perhaps stippling the others or as LAF2019 has shown.

I redid the middle, and came up with this ... I've already FMQ'd the middle LOL

you can see the watermarks where I removed the original pattern!
