Smile Im very pleased about Walmart and their fabric

I traveled to the area where our walmart is located, about an hours ride. I thought while in the area, I would stop in and see if any progress was going on with our fabric. I was truely impressed, they had more fabric. Not as much as before, but, still good to see. There was thread, scissors, rotary cutters, sewing machines, pellon, batting, buttons, patterns...the list could go on. Everything was nice and neat, The ladies that cut the fabric were in the fabric area, no one had to call them or yoddle. In the middle of the main aisle was a bin with fabric for $ 1.50. Quilting fabric quality, really nice fabric. I bought a yard. The woman cutting the fabrics, checked for any imperfections. JUST AN OUTSTANDING VISIT. I am so incredibly happy

You are SO lucky - not the case here - our WM department is so pitiful that nobody will buy anything and once again they will take it out - this time for good.

We have a new super WM here is RI. While most of the fabric was nice, not all of the fabric was good quality. If I want that ,I go to my local fabric store. You pay more, but you can't beat the quality and they are so helpful.

Glad you had a wonderful experience. The quality from our Walmart here isn't all that special. You really have to pay attention.

Several of the Walmart stores in my area have new fabric sections and appear to be well supplied and the fabrics are quite nice. I haven't bought anything just yet but have spent some time looking and feeling!!

At our Walmart you usually have to wait for a clerk to cut for you. One day I waited and waited and rang the bell several times and no ever came to cut. Our department is sad.

Our Walmart has always had crummy fabric and continues to carry junk.

I got 4 coordinating fabrics from WalMart that were as nice as anything I found at JoAnns. You have to look around but I did pay $6 yd so i wouldn't consider it cheap but at least they went together without searching all over the store.
