Thumbs down It's just me and my reverse sewing tool......

This past week I attended a Quilt Camp which was sew much fun!! I learned to stitch a new Block and got some great pointers from savvy quilters. It was a fabulous experience!!

My only problem is,.... my 'Reverse Sewing Tool' aka my 'Seam Ripper' has been working waaay overtime!! I expect a few mistakes when learning a new technique....however the trend has seemed to continue long after Quilt camp was over and into the weekend!! Geesh, really a straight seam and I have to rip it out??? I think I am jinxed! LOL

Hope everyone's weekend is coming along fabulously with no practice using a seam ripper!!

Did you know that a seam ripper can get dull? I have to buy a new one every so often cause I use them sew much! lol

I don't have to "unstitch" very often but I did yesterday! Guess preoccupied and sewing don't go together!

I was taught this saying in college: "measure twice, cut once". It has stuck with me and I try to take the time to double check everything before I sew it. It does help me not make as many mistakes as I would have.

My seam ripper is brand new, perhaps it just wanted to show me how efficient it is?? LOL... if I have another week like last it will be dull very quickly!
Things are going much better today!!
