Wink My Reverse Applique - (Just by winging it.)

I wanted to try something new in applique, as sometimes appliques look better "set-in". So, I just winged it on reverse applique. I'm sure this is a well-known technique, but I figured it out on my own. Oooooh.... some of the things that go through your mind when trying to fall asleep at night.. LOL. Well, this is one of those "things" from last night. Thanks for looking.

thank you. not hard at all, espcially with the handy dandy help of spray starch and an open-toe foot.

lol... ya know, i've been asking myself that all day since the moment i finished it... so, at this very moment i am going to google me up some inspiration. the green fabric is great quality, got it from Hancock's clearance table for 3.00 a yard and the quality is right up there with Moda. So, I bought several yards about 7-8 months ago.

By all means, I would be interested to see how you did that. It really looks nice, and I don't know enough about applique to even try to figure it out. I know raw edge, but am just amazed at some of the applique that I see here. Look forward to it.

Crisp, clean and PRETTY! I think it looks WONDERFUL!!! I also have a mind that "jogs" as night... that can be fun, but tiring!!
