Default jackpot, at least I think so

Went by a friends house today that had mentioned she had some donated machines from a local club. I stop by and so surprised to find this bundle of joy there. I had posted a while back about my boys learning to sew for a 4-H project. I think this one is sure to make things easier for them. Of course I will be enjoying this one also. I am thinking of making this one my travel machine for classes and such so my computerized machine can stay at home safe. It need a few feet that it didnt come with and an extension table but not a problem. If anyone has this machine or has any knowledge of them please let me. You know any problems that you have had or so on. I am so excited for my boys. Up till now all I had to start them on was my old one and a relic of their great gmas. I hope they are as excited as I am.

Great find. And I see some of my fabric in your blocks. Nice work on your Farmer's Wife.

I love both of my Brother machines. I have a little SE400 that my husband bought reconditioned and a big PQ1500S that I bought used from a friend. They are both workhorses. I also own other brands of machines, but these two are my favorites.

    Score on the machine!

The blocks are pretty - I like the fabrics you have used in them.

Peckish, I also love my Brothers. I have three now including this one. My first, a LS 2000 that my in laws got me for Xmas about 5 years ago when I first starting quilting alot. I then purchased a CS 6000i last January when I got into quilting everyday. Now this XL5232. So far the two I have are great. They have never let me down. I have chances to use other machines even some of the way expensive and I dont see the whoopie about the more expensive so Ill stick to my Brothers until I have a reason not to.
