I am very sad today, I ordered the Jinny Beyer Palette Super set last month to make that fabulous 'woven ribbons' quilt in McCalls Quilting last month... it was on backorder, w/estimated shipping in early March; when I placed my order... okay, it's really pretty so that makes sense... I thought I'd check on the status yesterday, today a reply came back that it was shipped on 2/25 along with a priority tracking #, went online to USPS, it seems it made it to Denver Co. sorting facility just fine... on 2/26... but, no record of it after that.... I am maybe 10 miles from that facility, it could walk to my house in a day, heck had I known they'd have trouble I would've offered to pick it up on my way to or from work, I go right by there! AAAAARRRRRGGGHHHH! I'll give it a couple days before I contact them again.... but I wanted to HOLD MY FABRIC!

Will they send you another one if the original one doesn't show up?

Give the store a call and have them take care of researching this or have them re-send a new one at no cost to you. This is the shipper's responsibility according to the credit card company I contacted about a similar issue a few years ago.

btw, Did you get it from Jinny's shop in Great Falls, Virginia? That is just down the road from me. I shop there with way to much regularity and have found most of the staff there to be very helpful.

dglvr, Amen to that! I'll give the postman a couple days to look thru the rain, sleet, etc, etc, for my treasures before I take my next step, which'll probably be to find out what the replacement policy is from Jinny on a priority shipment, or what needs to happen for the postman to cough up some cash.
I keep trying to find ways to NOT finish the log cabin I have on the design wall, but things keep pushing me back there. That reminds me... I returned a bathing suit to Lands End a couple weeks ago... thru USPS ( insured) I haven't heard from them, maybe I better make a call....

That is so frustrating. I hope they find it or you can get a replacement.

I am so sorry that this has happened but I would bet that the Shop will make it right with you. I sure hope so! Good Luck.

I know how expensive that line of fabric is. If the shop is worth it's name a new set would be sent to you free of charge if the order stays lost.
