Default Joann Fabrics now has multi brand sewing machines

I hadn't been is Joann's for quite some time (surgery & not needing anything sewing related)
But I stopped in yesterday and so surprised to see large display & demos of several brands of sewing machines, Brother, Viking, Janome, Juki, Singer.
Do all Joann's now have this?
It was a magnet for people like me addicted to sewing machine! LOL
I didn't buy but did pet and play with the machines for a few minutes.
I wonder how dealers feel about this? The dealer closest to my local Joann's doesn't carry any of those brands

The Joanne in Geneva, IL carries Viking/Husqvarna. This appears to be a separately owned dealer who rents space in Joanne because you cannot purchase anything in the Viking/Husqvarna section of the store except through the sales person in the V/H section. The Joanne cashier cannot ring up anything from the V/H section.

I have not seen all of those brands in the JoAnn's closest to me but I live in a small town so probably not able to get all brands like that in their store.

Years ago I bought a Juki TL98QE at a Joanns near me but, after a few years the motor burned up cost 390.00 to get a new motor had to wait several months too. In the meantime I bought one on line and after 8 years has never had any repairs. Could have just been a lemon from the start.

Ours is just Viking-Huskavarna-Singer. Yes its an independent who rents space from them. I think you just got lucky! My Joanna has a terrible service reputation. Several friends - knowing I am a new quilter - have warned me away from purchasing at my local Joann's. I hope yours is better!

My local Joann's only carry Singer machines but years ago when I lived near the super store they did have the Husqvarna Viking section in it but they left many years ago. I'm planning on visiting the really big Joann's this week so will have to check and see if they do carry any other machines.

several Joanns here had Viking dealers but they have all gone out. Now they carry a variety of brands, esp. the larger stores.

My Joanns has sewing machines now but what what happens if you have a problem, where do you take the machine for repair?
