Not brave enought to go out! Besides, I have enought trouble with DH (who has to drive me everywhere) on a SHORT shopping trip to JoAnn's-I'd NEVER get him to agree to this!
However, I usually enjoy myself so much just being in a fabric store and I always strike up a conversation while waiting, I don't mind the wait. If only I had someone close by me who would go with me (and drive) and enjoy it as much as me!!

I went to JA on my lunch to take advantage of 50% off batting. The prepackaged queen size actually works out to be cheaper than the roll once you figure the yard price. 108" = 3 yards. By the roll at 50% off works out to be $16.48 but the prepackaged works out to be $12. So I grabbed up 4 packages of W&N and 3 packages of Fairfield 80/20 batting. I also got their last 5 pack of Ofla blades for $15 ($3.00 per blade for Olfa works for me!)

But the real kudos to JA is that they still accepted my additional 20% off coupon even though it was after noon. The coupon supposedly expired at 12 noon but they honored it at almost 1 pm. I suspect it was because the lines at the cutting table were so darn long. So I got 7 packages of queen batting (90x108) a 5 pack of Olfa blades and a package of the extra long flat head quilting pins for $80! I was a very happy Black Friday shopper, especially when they took the additional 20% off.

You did an awesome time managment job on your cutting line.

i ventured into joann's ......but only because i had to be at the tire place at 8 am (didn't want to sit there all day) I ventured up to the closest JAs to find out they're closing the store and wasn't going to open til 9am..

Went back got my tires, and was up at JAs a bit after 9 and got a $5 gift card for being one of the 1st 100 customers - and a lady gave me one on her way out the door because she wasn't going to use it.

i got the big cutting mat, an 8x24 cutting ruler and spring scissor thing to make snipping those rag quilts easier...

i happy and ready to make a rag quilt - but that will be what i do over christmas break

I really don't look at it as ''time management'' but just a stroke of very very very good luck. There was NO WAY i was going to stand in line for 3-4 hours to have fabric cut....no matter how good the sale was ( but is ''was very good sale'' )....I just don't have the patience for waiting like that. I swear, most of those eary shoppers have 2-3 BASKETS full of flannel

JoAnn's is offering flannel for 1.29 a yard in the store. I don't NEED flannel right now, but I'm so tempted to get some for future pillow cases anyway.

They've got the same stuff on line for 1.79 per yard.

    Drive or use mouse?????????????????
