    Exclamation Juki TL 2010q

I have a brand new Juki 2010, took it to a sew-in in a suitcase. Suitcase fell over and knocked the stitch dial off.

Put dial back on and tightened up the screws. Works fine.

However my tension is off. The stitches don't look beautiful like they did before.

What are you go to tension settings????

If it's the little grey dial above the needle, mine is set right in the middle. I have never adjusted tension. When it fell, your's at be a little off from the factory settings. I would make a small quilt sandwich and adjust till it came out right.

my tension is anywere between 1.5 and 3.5, depending on the thread I'm using. I also find that I may have to adjust the top tension depending on the thread path, if I'm using the pretensioner or not.

You may want to check your bobbin tension. If the bobbin case was in place when it fell, it may have gotten knocked and bent out of round. I know this is something they warn about with LA machines, If you accidentally drop your bobbin case (or even a bobbin).

Because I use a lot of different weight thread, I adjust my bobbin tension regularly - just like I do with my LA.
