    Default Karen Eckmeier class

Has anyone taken a class with Karen Eckmeier? She's teaching one in my area called Happy Villages. Any comments, recommendations?
    Thanks!

It looks like it would be a fun class.

I wasn't familiar with Karen Eckmeier so googled her to find a webpage. Not sure of your areas of interest but her website was very interesting and I really liked her work and the specific quilt you mentioned.

Never taken a class led by Karen, but, I have her Happy Villages book and I took a class on her technique that was taught by a guild member. It's a fun technique and I enjoyed the class. Will probably do another village on my own in the future.

Oh Oh I wish I lived where you do!! I love her books and techniques and would love to learn from the master! If you want to learn art or landscape quilting, I don't think you could go wrong taking her class.

Default I just took Accidental Landscapes

I was in her class on Saturday at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival. I enjoyed it immensely and left with a real skill I can use. It really opened up possibilities for me and challenged me as well. The Happy Villiages are wall quilts. I would love the opportunity to take that class also. Go for it. She's a great teacher and a really nice person.
