    Question KEN LUND Quilt Frame

Hello, I am new to the board, I have been looking at the Ken Lund Machine Quilting frame, all the reviews are from a couple of years ago, anybody using one now?

I am sorry, I have never heard of this brand before. Welcome to the board.

I've watched all of his videos on you-tube and I like what I see. We are in the process of doing my sewing in the basement and when that is finished, I'm getting one. For the money, I don't think it is a bad investment. The only thing I'm thinking of is what kind of table you use to but it on, but that is not a problem because we can make one the size it will need.

We have talked about this subject before. Do a search and you will find lots of opinions. From what I have seen, a lot of people hate it, but there are some who like it. I think that with everything, it takes practice, and some just don't have enough to get it to work for them.

Would folks who have this frame be willing to update and tell how you like/ dislike it? I've looked at the videos and the only thing that bothered me is he strongly suggests it takes two people to roll the quilt on the take up roller. I live alone.

I'm going to be moving soon to a much smaller place and even though I can afford a frame for my Brother PQ1500s, and was almost ready to buy one, I realize I won't have room for a permanent set-up. I like the idea of being able to disassemble this and put it away.

I really, really wanted a handi-quilter but they aren't made any longer. Which makes me wonder if there was a problem with a table top design?

I'm surprised to hear that Handi Quilter isn't made anymore. Their website shows a sit down machine for sale - the handiquilter sweet sixteen. I believe there are other sit down machines on the market too. Have you googled?

I think she was referring to a frame, not a machine. But I've been wrong before...

    You are 100% correct.
This is what I am referring to, and it is no longer manufactured, so unfortunately Googling or Binging it won't help.

That is why I asked about the Ken Lund frame.
