I think the dealer didn't know - or at least I will think that 
She gave me $500 off the regular price. But then the day after I ran across a Bernina Canada flyer that ended on Oct 15th for $1200!!! off. I went back and she honoured the flyer price - so I will not complain. I tried the BRS foot and it is really neat!
