Default Log Cabin starting with left over fabrics

A month or more ago I saw a log cabin done with all scraps. It started with leftover 1/2 square triangle (which stayed in the bottom corner) then a half log cabin technique built from this, in other words only 2 strips were added. She didn't have equal cut strips but continued adding until maybe 14 inches (?), ending with a dark half log. Those two last strips were the only consistency in the whole quilt. When she put them together she swapped these two dark strips from the top, then the bottom which made the appearance of it being wonky. I searched this board, couldn't find it. Now, I have no idea where I saw it. Does anyone remember seeing this?

Never saw it, pretty sure I would remember something that looked like what you described. Sorry can't help you out.

Found this in log cabin modern section of pinterest.com: http://quiltinspiration.blogspot.com...shots-and.html
It has more than two strips but is wonky. Not what you described, but nice quilt!
Your best bet to finding it is to go on pinterest, put log cabin in search, (several sections came up, so search each section), sit back and enjoy some eye candy. Hope you find it. Good luck.

Perhaps you mean the Nova Quilt by Kim Brackett?

If the link doesn't work, just google Nova Quilt - several come up
