    Question Mug Rug Quilt?

Someone needs to stop me, as ideas keep coming to my head. As I am planning the Star quilt, I got to thinking of mug rugs. Has anyone taken the patterns for mug rugs and actually pieced together a quilt using them? I'm sure it's possible. I've found a website that sells only the patterns, and would love to place most of them together into a quilt.

you have basically described a sampler quilt. lots of different types of blocks, sometimes different sizes, usually put together with sashing.

I haven't see such a quilt, but it sure would be cute! Mug rugs come in all different sizes so you may have to resize some of them to fit what you want.

Why not? Those patterns are most often very clever.
