    Great idea...I am a firm believer in there is not right or wrong if you are satisfied with what you are doing. This seems like a sensible solution for quilting that is not too dense. I also like less quilting but use the straight line methods most of the time and do a lot of QAYG so do not pin but spray baste. I usually make 15" panels to join together much easier to do any kind of quilting. I sew on a Bernina Activa 230 and the throat is not large.

    Your quilt is very nicely quilted. I am not a big fan of meandering but yours looks very nice and is attractive.
