Just blow up a big picture of the quilt and use it for placement.

If they have good contrast, you could do a double Irish chain. I'm working on my first one now. Goes together very easily.

I am maybe different.. Don't know as much as many here. I would add the stripe in the top block and sort of fancy cut it so stipes are very straight.. OR other idea... is instead of two colors on the right and two on left. place stripe and tonel BOTH on right and left with floral in center? just an idea. I am sure what you chose will be very beautiful. :)

It doesn't look too hard, but it is very time consuming and one needs to be sure all pieces are cut accurately. That pattern wasn't the easiest to match the points and corners. ASK ME HOW I KNOW. That was the first quilt top I ever made about 15+ years ago. I bought a quilt book, (not that book) because of that particular pattern. I love the pattern, and still have the top, never quilted, have taken it apart since, but haven't ever gotten around to correcting it and completing the quilt. It is my UFO reminder. I may eventually get it reworked and completed.

Fabric Lover, I can't read Dutch. Is there some way to translate your post website?

Rail way or railroad is a great pattern for 3 fabrics. I love it.
