My SIL just purchased a knitting shop. I would like to make her a knitting themed wall hanging. I haven't had any luck finding a pattern. Anyone out there have any ideas?

you could always look up knitting coloring pages on google and do an applique quilt with 4 or 6 different blocks, sashing in between. Thats how I did my avatar

you could do a basket with balls of yarn. I would embroider the balls of yard with actual yarn

You could always do a four patch or just squares and let your quilting be things of knitting items

I have seen fabric with knitting needless on it. Of course, it doesn't help you that I can't remember where right now. I will look for you, if it would help.

    http://www.favoritefabric.com/cgi/commerce.cgi

Go to this link and scroll down to the knitting topic (they are listed alphabetically). There are sheep that are knitting, yarn & needles, and just needles. HTH.
