I am so sorry this happened to you! I did the same thing a couple of years ago and went into a panic! My DS who was 12 at the time, kicked me out of my sewing room, eased the fabric out, got the pin out too. It was stuck in and under the dogs. Kept that pin as a reminder not to do that again! Ironically, that exact pin paid him back! Nasty knot in something of his a few months later and it was the only thing to give me the leverage I needed.

Hope you are back to sewing with your favorite machine soon!!

What a disaster!!I must warn you, though, the last time I hurt my machine and took it in I came home with a new one! Not complaining as I was dreaming of a new one and love it but just to remind you of howmachines have changed in 10 years! Good luck.

Good luck!! I know if I had done this with one of my straight stitch vintage machines it would be no problem for me to take it apart and figure out what was wrong. But I wouldn't dare open up my Janome 6600 and start digging around like it was an old Singer 15!!

I feel your pain - when my Janome has to go to the Dr. it makes me sick. So sorry for your misfortune - it's hard to be without our "baby" machine.

Hope you let us know what the "doctor" says. I too hope it doesn't cost a lot to fix.

MaryKatherine, if this is the worst thing you've done to your machine in 10 years, she will forgive you! Best wishes!

I hope it hasn't done any serious damage. Good luck and hope it doesn't cost a lot to fix it.
