Default One Block As A Wall Hanging

I'm thinking of doing this block but instead of 2 1/2 inch squares, I want maybe 4 inches or even larger. Do you think this would be silly as just one big block?

I think it would be lovely and I can’t wait to see it! Love your color choices.

That block is gorgeous, pattern and colors. I think it would make a great wall hanging.

Definitely not! I made a 56 inch block from the 1000 blocks book.

A terrific "Barn Quilt" too! I have made a quilt with this block using scraps and it turned out lovely. I think as a stand alone block you made a good choice.

Even nicer if you buy an antique frame to display
